If it was between a faulty gauge and flying. I'd take the flight. It's not that hard to decipher relations in the flying business at the moment and it does feel that any excuse to split hairs is being taken. Planes are usually filled up on the ground. A faulty gauge while not reassuring is just a faulty gauge.

I probably speak for myself though.

Someday we may be offered that option. (Do you want SuperSafe, ExtraSafe or SafeEnuff?)

As it happens, they moved us to another plane which taxied to the runway...then back to the terminal because it had a different faulty gauge. The flight was finally put out of its misery and canceled. We were told to rebook. I decided to return home for a bloody mary and wait until tomorrow before trying again.
